Trix Circus is proud to announce the release of the Alta Rig – a fully engineered, tested, tagged and CERTIFIED aerial rig. No one else in Australia can offer you this high level of safety. It has been designed by us, engineered by professionals and manufactured in a reputable engineering workshop in Brisbane, Australia. This is the perfect rig for studios, schools, at home use and public performances as you will be able to show engineering certification to your insurers, city council, landlord or venue.
The Alta Rig Specs
A rig where you can safely do dynamic solo and duo aerial work. Made entirely of structural aluminum with steel accessories.
The Alta Rig is 7m high but can be set up as 3.4m or 5.2m by omitting leg sections.

*The Alta Rig is designed to be set up on any firm surface. According to engineer specifications, it is wind resistant up to 75km/h. For more extreme conditions pegs/stakes or additional stabilisation on the footplates is advised. The rig is designed for dynamic solo and duo aerial acrobatics and static trio acrobatics.
Work Load Limit (WLL) is the maximum load (weight x dynamic force) that you can safely apply to your apparatus/rig without potentially compromising its structural integrity.
Our WLL takes into account the dynamic forces that an aerialist generates. If you weigh 90kg, you can safely put a 10x dynamic force on the Alta Rig. This 10x dynamic force is higher than the current forces recorded for aerial work. The Breaking Strength (BS) on the Alta Rig is another 3 x times the WLL, building in another factor of safety. These high ratings allows you to SAFELY train at your peak.

The certification allows you to perform in public spaces. Councils, convention centres, shopping centres and other public spaces will require you to have engineering certification for your rigging.

The Alta Rig is produced as a certified product via certified manufacturing by Jade Engineering for Trix Circus.
The Alta Rig’s certification includes:
- An engineered design by a RPEQ* to meet AS/NZS 1664.2:1997 Aluminium structures
- Manufacturing as per Jade Engineering’s RPEQ’s* requirements.
- Batch non-destruction tests of the life welds (independent examiner(s)).
- Every outsourced component is a certified product.
- Jade Engineering’s shop is ISO 9001 certified.
- All welding is produced by certified welders.
- All welding is supervised and inspected by a certified welding supervisor.

Once you pay the $2,000 deposit you only have to pay $192.31 per week for one year – cheaper than our corporate rental fees!
Rental Pricing:
Setup/De-installation: $720 (in total)
Non-profit Organisations: $250/day
Corporate/For-profit Organisations: $350/day
Delivery/transport fee included in the set up/de-installation fee to within a 50km radius of Ormeau, Queensland. Riggers are available for hire with the ALTA for an additional fee. Customers are responsible for arranging appropriate crash mats and safety protective devices as needed for their intended use.
