Design Components
This engineer designed and manufactured trapeze bar is made of aluminium. All welds are completed by a certified welder and are in accordance with AS/NZS 1665. The working space between the silk attachment points is 60cm. The trapeze bar is 25mm thick and is the perfect size for your grip, yet comfortable for toe hangs, heel hangs and back balances.
The ‘ropes’ on this type of trapeze are essentially two hammocks, manufactured from high-quality 40 denier tricot fabric. This 2.8m wide, non-stretch, shiny material looks and feels fantastic. The fabric is whipped together to provide the beautiful, neat “Trix-style” finish to the hammocks. The hammocks are mounted onto the lugs of the trapeze bar to offer one of two effects:
- Fixed at the bar: so that the fabric slides through the top two maillons. Recommended only for intermediate to advanced level aerialists.
- Fixed at the top: so that the bar slides along the fabric. Suitable for all aerialists.
Note:
- The colours on your screen may differ slightly to the final product due to different screen settings and brightnesses.
- This trapeze is made under tension. There will be a discrepancy between the “hammock rope” length when loaded (“in use”) and their lengths when unloaded. The “hammock rope” lengths listed here (3m & Custom) are the loaded, or “in use” lengths.
