Design Components

This aerial ring rope is made in the style of a miniature corde lisse. It’s a useful accessory, connecting the aerial ring to its hanging point and keeping the swivel away from your working space. As well as being functional, you can use it to perform skills and choreography above the hoop. All Trix ropes have a cotton sheath exterior with a polyester fabric filler and an inner Dyneema rope for safety. The rope includes a 10mm delta maillon for attachment to your rigging point.

The difference between this version of the corde lisse rope and the original version is that the webbing sling is protected by the outer cotton sheath this provides two excellent things. A) build in redundancy to ensure performer safety B) a smooth and streamlined look to your lyra accessory.

It is available in 1m, 1.5m and 2m lengths. This rope is suitable for duos as well as single performers and we recommend that you attach your swivel and rigging at the top of the rope.

Please note that due to the inner packing, this rope has stretch. When loaded and unloaded the length of the rope will change (up to 20cm). This effect will reduce over time as the packing loses elasticity. Our measurement for length is made during the manufacture process when the item is under load.

Corde Lisse Lyra Ropes have a Dyneema core and will never stretch beyond their original manufacture length.

The webbing is hand-dyed and the result can vary in colour and consistency. The colour onscreen may be somewhat different to what you receive due to the fabric dyeing process. Please scroll down for more information on colourization.

Standard Colours

Standard colours are cream, black, blue, navy and red.

Custom Colours

We can also dye the corde lisse lyra rope to different hues of your choosing. We have an in-house dyeing service and an outsourced professional service, please see here for details. Custom colour orders can take at least 14 days to process. Please ensure that you place your order with this timeframe in consideration. Custom colourations are generally extremely successful. However, while our dyers do their best to match the hue of your choice, an exact shade match cannot be guaranteed. Also, the colouration may fade over time. It is very important to keep the coloration out of direct sunlight and free from moisture.

*User loads must take into account dynamic forces applied and not exceed the dynamic WLL.

NOTE: This product is recommended for use with tabless aerial hoops. If you use it with a tabbed hoop, expect a greatly reduced lifespan for the connecting sling. This will be a wear point that needs to be inspected with each use.
