Design Components

Our professional-grade straps trapeze bars are made of mild steel.

The webbing is hand-dyed and the result can vary in colour and consistency. The colour onscreen may be somewhat different to what you receive due to the fabric dyeing process. Please scroll down for more information on colourization.

Two options are available:

Padded Straps Trapeze

• With the bar-to-rope locking technology that makes Trix Circus trapezes solid, stable and safe.
• Our standard trapeze bar is 60cm long with approximately 56cm of working space between the ropes. The solid steel bar is 25mm thick and is the perfect size for your grip, yet comfortable for toe hangs, heel hangs and back balances.
• A dance trapeze or duo trapeze option available. The bar is also able to be customized to specific needs.
• Padded lyra strap-style “ropes” with padded elbows for loads of comfort. The cotton fabric straps are all reinforced with nylon webbing for added strength and safety and packed for comfort.
• Non-sliding style only.
• 12mm delta maillons for top attachment.

Sliding Straps Trapeze

1. An engineer-certified trapeze bar made of steel to AS3990:1993 Mechanical Equipment – Steelwork. It has been designed by our professional engineers and manufactured by professional welders to AS/NZS 1554.1. It is a unique design created to ensure minimal wear on rope-to-bar connection of the trapeze.
2. The working space on the bar (between the eyes) is 56cm. Due to the professional finish on the bar, customization is not possible.
3. There is a dance trapeze option available. Same size between the eyes but with pegs on the outside of the eyes. This option adds an extra $35 to the cost of your trapeze. Please email us directly to organize this customization.
4. The “ropes” on this type of trapeze are two looped aerial straps. All our aerial straps are made from highest quality tubular webbing. You can choose our cotton fabric in any of the regularly available colours (cream, black, red, blue and custom). The cotton fabric straps are all reinforced with nylon webbing for added strength and safety.
5. Sliding and non-sliding style possible.
6. 10mm stainless steel delta maillon sewn into place at the top of each strap to ensure safe and efficient rigging.

The standard padding colour is black or cream but we are able to do custom colours upon request.

Note:

• Due to the complicated manufacture process, there could be a variance of up to 0.5cm between the two rope (straps) lengths in the final product.

Standard Colours

Standard colours are cream, black, blue, navy and red.

Custom Colours

We can also dye the cotton webbing of your straps trapeze to different hues of your choosing. We have an in-house dyeing service and an outsourced professional service, please see here for details. Custom colour orders can take at least 14 days to process. Please ensure that you place your order with this timeframe in consideration. Custom colourations are generally extremely successful. However, while our dyers do their best to match the hue of your choice, an exact shade match cannot be guaranteed. Also, the colouration may fade over time. It is very important to keep the coloration out of direct sunlight and free from moisture.
