IN-PERSON and ONLINE
Trix provides personalised creative workshopping for advanced level students, pre-professionals and professionals. We specialise in all aerial art disciplines, hand-to-hand/adagio, hand balance, contortion, rolla bolla, teeterboard, Korean teeterboard, Russian bar and act creation.
To understand if Trix training is correct for you, please consider the following recommendations:
Prospective aerial students should have
- at least 6 chin ups
- at least 6 straight arm, straight leg straddle inverts
- the desire to develop an act or a skill set to a professional level and/or
- the desire to create artistic choreography unique to you
Prospective hand balance students must have:
- a 45-second free balance handstand
- a press to handstand
- the desire to develop an act or a skill set to a professional level and/or
- the desire to create artistic choreography unique to you
Prospective hand-to-hand/adagio students must have:
- a consistent partner/s and have stability in all basic and intermediate moves
- the desire to develop an act or a skill set to a professional level and/or
- the desire to create artistic choreography unique to you
During your private coaching session, we will:
- Use a combination of Decision Method and Direct Instruction to allow you to try different pathways to success.
- Use sound biomechanical analysis to adjust technique efficiently.
- Encourage discussion and questions relating to techniques, timings or equipment.
Bookings:
IN PERSON: Join us in our creative space located in Ormeau, Queensland; with full capabilities for most aerial acts including permanent swinging trapeze and cloudswing rigging. All students have access to our electric winch and other specialised features of our space.
ONLINE: We are using the zoom.us website to view videos and do face-to-face online sessions with individuals or groups*. This could take place from your home or from your circus space* so long as you have a strong internet connection.
