Design Components

This is a low cost version of our static trapeze bar. It is 60cm wide and made of 25mm thick solid mild steel with 2 or 3m long white or 2m black nylon ropes. An ideal start up piece of equipment – great for strength training, aerial tricks or as your kid’s first trapeze. No padding or rigging accessories included. You can choose to add padding to the ropes yourself or keep it as it is.

These bars all have the bar-to-rope locking technology that makes Trix Circus trapezes so solid, stable and safe.

Note:

• Due to the manufacture process, there could be a variance of up to 0.5cm between the two rope lengths in the final product.
• Nylon rope will relax over time. Black nylon relaxes more than white nylon rope. This may mean that your trapeze becomes uneven.
• For the above reason, we no longer make 3m black basic trapezes unless upon request.
• Cotton-cable, cotton-dyneema trapezes and corde lisse trapezes do not relax over time and will remain at their original manufacture length.

Rigging Advice

Each rope of any single point trapeze should be mounted onto a swivel (which are in turn mounted onto a spreader plate) to allow the ropes to turn freely and independently and thereby retaining the natural lay of the rope. If you do not choose to use swivels on each leg/rope of the trapeze, the rope may become “unwound” during use. This will ultimately reduce the lifespan of your equipment and can reduce the strength of the trapeze.
