Our hammock silks (aerial sling) are made from high quality 40 denier tricot fabric. This 2.8m wide, non-stretch, shiny material looks and feels fantastic. For the single strand hammock, 2 x 10mm delta mallions are whipped to the ends of the hammock (removable for washing your hammock), which gives this apparatus a beautiful neat finish (unlike hammocks that use knots to attach the rigging). This is the point of difference when considering the purchase of your hammock – a Trix hammock is stylish, sleek and safer. For the double strand hammock, 2 x 12mm maillons are attached to each end of the apparatus by whipping on one end and choke hitch on the other. Again creating an apparatus with a smooth and sleek appearance.
Choose from single strand or double strand silks, 3, 4 or 5m drop.
Note:
- The colours on your screen may differ slightly to the final product due to different screen settings and brightnesses. Please adjust the brightness on your screen to 100% to get the best view of the different colours. Also please check our Instagram page to see a variety of pictures of the silk colours.
- The hammocks are made under tension. There will be a discrepancy between their length when loaded (“in use”) and their length when unloaded. The hammock lengths listed here (3m/4m/5m) are their loaded, or “in use” lengths.
