This strap-style lyra extension is covered with a beautiful cotton tubular webbing making it comfortable to grip and use. No more ugly spansets! This accessory works the same as a rigging sling, allowing you to work within its two strands, but has an elegant and comfortable design.

Design Components
This accessory is the perfect replacement for a rigging sling at the top of your lyra. It connects your aerial ring to its hanging point as well as keeping the swivel away from your working space. The strap provides endless opportunities for performing skills and choreography above the hoop within and around the strap. This is our standard Trix cotton strap (with additional padding) and a nylon webbing interior for safety. The strap includes one 10mm delta maillon sewn into place.
We recommend that you attach your swivel and rigging at the top of the rope.
It is available in 1m, 1.5m and 2m lengths in black, cream, red, green and Pantone range custom colours. Please note that green is only available in the “grippy” style outer casing.
This rope is suitable for duos as well as single performers.
Please note
We manufacture all Padded Lyra Straps under load. There will be up to a 20cm discrepancy between the rope lengths when under load (in use) and not under load. The rope lengths listed on the website are the under load/in use measurement.
Our Padded Lyra Straps has a Nylon safety belt material core and will never stretch beyond their original manufacture length. When this item is new and unloaded, it will appear shorter.
Colour
Lyra straps come in standard colours of cream, black and red. Colourations may fade over time. It is very important to keep the coloration out of direct sunlight and free from moisture. Customised colours from the Pantone range are available, please email us before placing your order.

NOTE: This product is most suitable for tabless aerial hoops. If you use it with a tabbed hoop, expect a shorter lifespan of the connecting sling. This will be a wear point that needs to be inspected with each use.
Please note that due to the inner packing, this rope has stretch. When loaded and unloaded the length of the rope will change. This effect will reduce over time as the packing loses elasticity. Our measurement for length is made when the item is under load.
